Taste of Africa

By March 20, 2016No Comments

Back in Minnesota, the first “Taste of Africa” was a huge success, with four African chefs providing amazing food. Honorees at the event included the Osborne family [pictured above: Maria (left) and Victoria Osborne (right) receiving the Tikonko All-star award from Jonathan Rose (center)], and the Boynton primary care nurses and Friends of Alice. Both received the distinguished Tikonko All-star award for their major contributions to RHCI over the past 5 years.

Thank you: To our many generous donors, to the volunteers helping at the events and in other ways, to Presbyterian and Methodist women for making newborn kits and pillowcase dresses, and to our hard-working staff in the US and Sierra Leone. You are truly making a difference in Sierra Leone. Without your support, RHCI would not be able to accomplish its goals in Tikonko.
