Gary Johnson, MD, MPH, FACOEM was born in Duluth, Minnesota and currently practices Occupational and Environmental medicine at HealthPartners Clinics in Minneapolis and St. Louis Park, MN. Prior to this, he served as the Medical Director of Occupational Medicine for North Memorial Health Care. He has completed residencies and is board certified in both internal medicine and occupational medicine. Dr. Johnson is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and past president of the regional component, North Central Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association.
Additionally, he was Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine for the University of Minnesota from 1995-2012. In 2002 he was awarded the Physician Collaboration Award by North Memorial Health Care and in 2008 he was named a Top Doctor by Mpls/St.Paul magazine. Along with RHCI, Dr. Johnson served to develop the youth in his community through 13 years as a Scoutmaster and Venture Crew Advisor for Boy Scouts of America and by developing a school-based youth track and field program from 2001-2004.
