Healthy Pregnancies, Healthy Children, a Thriving Nation
Rural Health Care Initiative partners with the people of rural Sierra Leone to improve health, with a focus on Maternal/Child health. RHCI's work is currently focused in Tikonko Chiefdom, birthplace of RHCI founder Alice Karpeh.
Rural Health Care Initiative envisions rural Sierra Leone to be a place where mothers are delivering safely, good medical care is provided, and everyone is healthy. RHCI was created to prevent needless death in rural Sierra Leone, especially of mothers and infants. RHCI works to improve a degraded health system and serve the rural community -- sharing our ability and resources to make a significant difference in the country.
