Sealed barrel, Truck transporting the items and partial listof items for the Midwife Kit sent to Tikonko on June 23, 2018
A huge thank you to all who donated items and funds to the much needed Midwife Kits for the new Tikonko Midwives, Hawa and Marion. Also thank you for the donations of baby kits, post partum kits and dresses for girls.
A special thank you goes to First Presbyterian Church of White Bear Lake including the sewing group and youth group, Presbyterian Women of the Twin Cities area, Global Health Ministries in Fridley, Belinda Breit, Dr. Ed Ehlinger, Deb Que, Mary Gillespie, Jill Bauer, Dr. O and many others. Your donations made this shipment of much needed items a reality.
Three 55 gallon barrels and a large suitcase were shipped out on June 23, 2018 and will arrive in Tikonko, Sierra Leone near the end of August.
