Thank you to the over 230 people who supported RHCI through the October Expanding Our Roots Dinner Event at the Brooklyn Park Community Activity Center!
With matching grants of $10,000 each from the Petrie Hanson Family and Diamond Lake Plastics in New Germany, MN, the event goal of $50,000 was reached. Funds from this event will be used to expand into the Gondama area of Tikonko Chiefdom with a Birth Waiting Home and Outreach Motorbike Clinic, while continuing our operations in the Tikonko Town, Kassama and Sembehun catchment areas.
Keynote speaker, Jeff Hall, founder and board chair of One Village Partners, spoke of his experiences as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sierra Leone in the 1980’s and his return after the war.
RHCI wishes to thank all who attended and your generosity. Also thanks to the many volunteers who made the evening successful and entertaining.
Thank you to Sheku Sheriff and Gary Johnson for their photography.
