On a hot Minnesota evening, a group of 40 energetic folks gathered at Elsie’s Bowling Alley in Northeast Minneapolis to have fun and raise funds for Rural Health Care Initiative’s work in rural Sierra Leone. Pictured above is RHCI Board Member Sarah Cassell and her team.
With ten teams of varying sizes, ages, and skills, the alley resounded with balls striking pins, or not, in some cases! With many adults by their side, six children enjoyed bowling, using bumpers and ramps, some for the first time ever.

During the event, RHCI founder Alice Karpeh called in with FaceTime to thank the bowlers for their support of RHCI. This was a highlight for many of the participants.
