Birth Waiting Home Groundbreaking

The long-awaited ground breaking for the Birth Waiting Home in Tikonko took place on Saturday, May 14th, 2016. Participating in the ceremony were officials from the Ministry of Health and Sanitation; the Tikonko Paramount Chief Macavorie; RHCI in-country director, Manley Jongopie; along with RHCI Board Members Alice Karpeh, Rebecca Johnson, and Gary Johnson. The staff of the Tikonko Health Center and Traditional Birth attendants from the area and many community members attended. Phase one of the construction will begin very soon.
