Stitching up serious lacerations, caring for a man with a bad dog bite to the foot, treating a woman with a breast abscess, cleaning and dressing wounds and ulcers…..these are the types of health problems presenting to Dr. Johnson in Tikonko. Working with his wife Sandra assisting, he provides much needed medical care. Recently, they transported a young girl with severe malaria and a hemoglobin of 5 to the Bo Childrens (Rotary) Hospital where she received life-saving care.
