….by the response of our many supporters and friends who generously participated in the 2020 Virtual Taste of Africa fundraiser. With the March 29th event cancelled, the RHCI board was concerned about the need for another way to increase revenue during this time of the COVID 19 pandemic. As of today (April 10), the amount received or pledged reached $23,000, very close to the goal of $25,000! Thank you to Chris Janty for her matching funds and for all who participated to make this a success.
During this time of global health crisis, we realize the connection we have with all of humanity, whether in our local communities, across our nation or in other parts of the world. Together, we are doing our part to make a difference. Your donations will be used to continue our life-saving programs for women and young children in rural Sierra Leone, allowing our staff to be advocates in the prevention of infections including COVID 19.
